North Central Park is a well-maintained public park that contains a running track, basketball courts, picnic tables, and other open spaces for all to enjoy. While you’re here, don’t forget to check out the Rockford Riverfront Park. It’s located by the train station, and it features picnic tables, playground equipment, and more. You can bring your children or just sit down and relax at the many tables and chairs. During the summer, you can enjoy the swimming pool or the hot tub, too. While it may not be as large as other parks, it is still a beautiful park. The riverfront location makes it perfect for taking in the view from your car, while the park itself is very picturesque.
